That definitely looks like a fake, but I must say that the one in the Kailey dress looks like a fake Sam because she looks like she has brown eyes.
I definitely do NOT want a fake. It's a good thing the doll isn't up for bid.
I just noticed this auction, and Molly looks very odd. I have never seen a fake Molly, so if those of you have, could you chime in. I'm not criticizing anyone, just asking about Molly.

Hey eyes are kinda scary... very buggie.. I'm not sure if they made the mold with really big eye holes at one time? My molly doesnt look this way.

I know the eBay auction posting situation can be confusing, but on auctions for items that you think might be fake here is the rule.
Do not post a link to any auction to ask if it is fake or to say that you think it is fake. This can lead to misunderstandings by potential buyers and a reduced sale price for the seller. Send the link in PM to Ria who is our resident "fake expert." She will determine whether the doll is authentic or not. You may also send the link in PM to other board members.
If Ria determines the doll to be fake she, and only she, is allowed to post the link to the auction with her determination of the authenticity.
When we start posting accusations, some of which will not be true, not only the seller's but our own reputation is harmed. We also endanger the existence of our board. A seller who is harmed monetarily by the posts on our board can take action against the board. What action would depend on the seller and how upset they are, but they could certainly make trouble for us.

please consider reposting the links. I was not commenting on the items for sale, the validity of the seller, or making negative accusations. I was simply asking for an opinion on a doll that was modeling.
I have been told there are 'fake' dolls in the marketplace. This seller was not selling the doll. I believe she may not even know her doll looks odd. I was looking for information, not to slander anyone.
this is the rule regarding fakes in the Hostboard rules:
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">The doll was never mentioned in the auction description.Additionally, if you ask people on the board to help you identify a fake or an untrue statement in an auction description(remember, you cannot post a link to the auction), and the consensus turns out that the item probably is fake or some untrue statement has been made about it, it is against ebay rules to contact any of the bidders on the auction and warn them away from the item.

You are correct, Luanne. When the auction is not for the item whose authenticity is under question, it is fine to post the link to the auction as long as there is no criticism of the seller in any way.
